Join Uteguiden for a spectacular RIB safari from Ålesund — and experience Sunnmøre’s coastline the way it’s meant to be seen: from the sea.

This tour takes you along the wild and scenic coast outside the city, past small islands, hidden bays, rocky skerries and dramatic cliffs. Along the way we make several stops to enjoy the views, take photos and look for local wildlife.

All our tours depart from our base at Dronning Sonjas plass in iconic Brosundet. Just minutes from the Tourist Information Office and the cruise pier, you can step straight from Ålesund’s waterfront into a premium fjord and sea adventure.

Comfort and safety on board

Before departure, you’ll be equipped with a flotation suit, life jacket and goggles. Our boats feature suspension seats that reduce impact and make the ride more comfortable — especially in waves and open-water conditions.

We operate in small groups and always adapt the route to the weather.

For our winter season tours (January - April)

We recommend dressing warmly before you arrive. Coastal weather can be cold with wind, so wear warm layers under the flotation suit and bring good winter footwear. Dress in layers with thermal base layers, insulating mid-layers and a warm jacket, and choose warm winter boots to keep your feet comfortable throughout the experience.
