This tour takes you into open waters where dramatic cliffs, rich wildlife and the power of the ocean create a truly memorable experience.

Our boats take up to 12 guests, and we always adapt the route to weather conditions. If the sea is too rough at Runde, we adjust the tour and head into the fjords instead — safety and quality always come first.

All our tours depart from our base at Dronning Sonjas plass in iconic Brosundet. Just minutes from the Tourist Information Office and the cruise pier, you can step straight from Ålesund’s waterfront into a premium fjord and sea adventure.

Experience the bird cliffs of Runde

Runde is Norway’s southernmost bird mountain and home to more than 100,000 seabirds. The cliffs are best explored from the water, where you can get close without disturbing the birds.

The sea has carved caves into the cliffs, which we explore when conditions allow.

We cannot guarantee sightings of specific species. Puffins are typically seen from April until early August.
