About the experience

Discover Bergen with all your senses. Food and Culture walk is a great way to explore Bergen and learn about the history of both the city and the food. You will be accompanied by a local guide in a small group as you wonder through the oldest parts of the city.

This tour is focusing on the local produce, food traditions as well as Bergen's interesting culture and people. There will be stops along the tour, where you will get to taste a selection of what the city and its traditions has to offer. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage Listed – Bryggen, in addition to a meal at a local gem of a restaurant. The last stop is in a cellar that dates back to the 1300s. Here you will get served a small beer and a very special story. The food will be sufficient as a lunch.

Remember to dress according to the weather. Bergen is, after all, the city of rain!
