- Drive to Osterøy Island via Bergen's suburbs, retracing the old picturesque rail route.
- Enter the island, stop at the viewpoint by the bridge (toilets available).
- Drive along the fjord past one of the best-preserved farm clusters in Norway.
- Bruvik viewpoint, at an altitude that offers a fantastic vista of the sprawling fjord.
- Continue the drive on the highlands, taking in the constantly shifting landscapes.
- Kossdalssvingene, Norway's steepest path unravelling in a series of hairpin bends.
- If you prefer, you can walk down the path all the way to the valley, where we would pick you.
- Coffee break at a traditional store by the marina, a glimpse of Norway's journey to modernity.
- Drive to the other end of the island to a car ferry to return to Bergen the old-fashioned way.
- Back in Bergen - a quick stop at Skansen with a panoramic view of the city.
