Canyoning for families is a fun and safe experience in a spectacular environment.
We can guarantee you a lot of fun, playfulness, and an exciting activity!
Canyoning is an activity where it`s all about moving down and though a canyon. We will bring you safely through the canyon, while we play and have fun in the natural environment. We can guarantee you to get wet!
The trip takes place directly downstream from the renowned Gudbrandsjuvet canyon, approximately 15 kilometers from downtown Valldal, towards Trollstigen. We play in a breathtaking canyon, where placid water runs between vertical granite walls. Within the canyon jump, swim and play around while, travelling down the canyon.
The whole activity is especially tailored for families with youths between 8 and 13 years old, where our goal is that everybody get the feeling of excitement, challenge and fun, at same time as it`s safe.

Things to bring
Bring wool both shirt and pants underwear for better heat and comfort. A layer of wool beneath wetsuits dramatically increases warmth. On cold days we recommend bringing thin wool layers and neoprene gloves. Remember to bring dry clothes to get changed afterwards and a towel.
Equipment
All equipment is included. Participants are provided with a 6mm one piece wetsuit with hood, neoprene shoes, helmet, climbing harness with lanyard and two professional guides on each trip.

Normal physical shape
Maximum weight for the participant: 120 kg and/or the equipment should fit properly

Important information
Participants
Minimum number of participants are 5. If there are too few, you will be offered to reschedule or join one of our other tours. If you decide not to reschedule or join another tour, you will be refunded.
Alternative dates
If you can participate other days than the booked date, please comment on the booking. It becomes easier for us if we need to do adjustments due to too few participants or weather conditions.
Cancellation
If trips are cancelled by Uteguiden, either due to extreme weather or too few participants, the cost of the trip will be refunded in full.
During the pandemic of COVID-19, we offer our clients an extended cancellation policy. If you are not allowed to travel due to corona-related travel restrictions, you will get a full refund when you cancel your trip until 7 days before the start date.
