The tour follows the beautiful Norddalsfjord towards Tafjord, one of the lesser-known branches of the UNESCO World Heritage fjord system, where dramatic mountains, cascading waterfalls, and untouched nature create an unforgettable setting for kayaking.
Your adventure begins at Uteguiden's base in Valldal, where you'll meet your guide and receive all the equipment needed for the tour. After a short introduction to kayaking and a comprehensive safety briefing, it's time to launch onto the fjord.
Paddling in stable tandem kayaks, we'll explore the peaceful fjord and experience the surrounding nature from water level. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the local area, its history, and the unique landscape, while there will be plenty of opportunities to pause, take photos, and simply enjoy the tranquility.
The route is adapted to the weather conditions and the group's experience, ensuring a safe and enjoyable tour for everyone. Thanks to the calm waters and limited boat traffic, Norddalsfjord provides the perfect setting for a relaxing kayaking experience.
After spending a few unforgettable hours on the fjord, we'll return to the base with lasting memories and, hopefully, a new appreciation for exploring Norway by kayak.
