About the experience
We offer a fantastic journey through the canyon with jumps into the canyon itself, tightrope walking, various climbing passages, a zip-line and several stages of swimming in the cold and fresh water.
Canyoning can become the jewel among your Norwegian summer memories.
Canyoning is about safely moving through a canyon—also known as a gorge, or a ravine, where a river flows at the bottom. With the right equipment and our excellent guidance, you can get closer to the wild and beautiful nature of the west coast than you ever have before. Our experienced guides ensure that the canyoning is done in a family-friendly and safe manner—and promise to give you all an experience of a lifetime!
We have established a completely unique route for canyoning in the Valldøla River on the western coast of Norway. Here we offer a fantastic journey through the canyon with jumps into the canyon itself, tightrope walking, various climbing passages, a zip-line and several stages of swimming in the cold and fresh water.
Our canyoning takes place near the natural attraction Gudbrandsjuvet and the world-famous Juvet Landscape Hotel—about 15 km from Valldal center towards the famous Trollstigen road. We stay in a part of the river where the water flows calmly through adventurous formations in the mountain. We start at the top of the canyon and move safely downwards with various exciting tasks and challenges along the way.
Our experience is that canyoning often leads to great excitement for all age groups!
