We invite your group to rafting, fun, and games! The large and safe Vosso River is perfect for "playful children" of all ages.
Family trips are suitable for families with children 5 years old or older, school classes, and sports teams where participants are under 15 years old – and for those who think the Stranda River might be too tough.
We use both large, stable rafts that can take up to eight participants, and small two-person rafts (duckies) for those who want a greater challenge. We promise lots of swimming and fun for everyone!
Nb* We do not recommend taking children under 12 years old in the 2-person rafts/Duckies as they tip over easily and it can be a bit too tough an experience for the youngest ones.
The Vosso river runs between Bulken and Evanger, along the E16 towards Bergen. Here we raft about 7km between Geitle and Evanger with fun and safe river rapids. We start in a calm section and raft downstream with the current, passing large waves and smaller rapids. We usually play games and get everyone swimming in a small lake before continuing down the last river section to the village of Evanger.

Participant Requirements
- Min Age 5 (during the year)
- Normal Physical Health
- Comfortable in water, even if you cannot swim
- Participants who wish to use the Duckies should be able to swim
- Max user weight 120kg
- Sober!
- We cannot take anyone that is pregnant on this activity.
- We cannot take anyone with a heart condition on this activity
- We recommend that you consult us regarding medical conditions like recent surgeries, asthma, epilepsy, back Injuries or restricted mobility

- 5mm Neoprene Wetsuits and jackets in the summer and 7mm steamers in spring and Autumn - the best equipped company in Norway!
- River Booties, lifejacket and helmet

- Towel for showers
- Bring thermal underwear on cold days
Good to know
- You will definitely get wet
- Groups of more than 7 may need to split up into several rafts
- All wetsuits and booties are disinfected after every trip

- Voss Active AS can make changes or cancellations of arrangements due to water levels or weather conditions not under our control.
- Trips may be cancelled or moved if we do not have enough guests registered to complete the activity.
- If Voss Active AS cancels, we will offer alternative activity if possible. The customer can choose to withdraw from the order and we refund 100%.
- Participants are themselves obliged to obtain information about our participant age limits, physical requirements and health criteria.
- Minor adjustments in numbers free of charge up to 72 hours before check-in.
- No-show: Payment is required for booked seats that are not used on arrival!
