Bicycling can present danger for life and health. All use of the bicycle is on the renter’s own responsibility. The renter holds the whole responsibility for own security and potential injuries as a consequence of the activity. The renter is responsible for checking the equipment before bicycling.
1. The renter is responsible for having sufficient knowledge and experience for using the equipment. Helmet must always be used.
2. The renter is responsible for any harm or damage to the bicycle or to any of the other equipment rented through Folgefonni Breførarlag AS.
3. The renter is responsible for placing the bicycle for storage and also to secure the equipment after the trip.
4. Folgefonni Breførarlag AS has under no circumstances any responsibility for any damage or harm that may occur during the activity, either on third man’s property. There will under no conditions be given any indemnityfor loss or harm. For injuries on third persons properties the renter must cover this using own travel insurance.
5. The renter has controlled the bicycle and found it in sufficient condition for doing the tour.
6. The renter is obligated to inform about the route plans and also to notify Juklafjord if any delay.
The renter has to read and accepted all six bullet points above and accepts that bicycling is solely done on signer’s own responsibility.
