This city walk gives you that little extra.

You start with a traditional city walk in the center of Mo i Rana, before visiting the city museum and ending in the old town, Moholmen.

This guied tour takes 2 hours.

The last execution in 1647, the building of a new church with funding from the Sami people, the first school in Nordland, AS Norsk Jernverk, restructuring and the success stories. You'll hear about all this on our city tour.

On the edge of the Arctic Circle, near Svartisen Glacier, is the second largest city in Nordland, called Mo i Rana. It is a town in Rana municipality with a total of 18,900 inhabitants. Perhaps a small town compared to many others, but still big enough for us who live here, because we have what we need to thrive and have a good life. People have lived here for thousands of years, and the Sami culture has meant an incredible amount to the culture, food and society. Mo church and the Sami school on Moholmen were financed to a large extent by the Sami community, the church was completed in 1723 and the Sami school in 1718.

The guided tour takes 2 hours.

Guiding normally takes place in Norwegian, but can be taken in English or German, if desired.

The citywalk can be experienced every day throughout the year.
