A trip in the archipelago with a sturdy sea sailor. We only hoist sails if you want.
The trip goes into the beautiful archipelago outside Herøy, the captain is local and can tell salty stories from the long maritime history of the Herøy Islands. Maybe we will stop somewhere for a swim or a refreshment.

Would you like to learn a little about sailing? become confident at sea, and master everything you need to create memorable sailing experiences with your family or friends? On a trip with Havkanten Explorer you will get the knowledge you need to master sailing and practical seamanship.
A typical day on a sailing trip with us usually starts with some fruit, activity, breakfast and preferably a morning swim in the fantastic azure blue, clean sea. Then there will be a few hours of sailing before lunch. In the afternoon the boat returns to the quay where you go ashore and can enjoy dinner in the restaurant, if the weather is with us the outdoor restaurant here is magical.

You do not need to know anything about sailing to join this trip, if you wish, you can learn along the way. If you have previous sailing experience, you will be able to develop your knowledge and skills further together with our experienced crew. Throughout the trip you will contribute together with other participants in sailing, lookout and navigation.
With the sailboat as a very quiet and environmentally friendly means of transport, we can get up close to various species of birds. If we are really lucky, we will also encounter the killer whale out in the open sea.
The sailboat is our home for the entire trip, and we collaborate on the routines and what needs to be done on board. All the food we eat is already stocked before the trip starts.
