Guided Snowshoe Tour in Lofoten’s Winter Landscape

Join us on a calm and scenic snowshoe tour into Lofoten’s winter landscape.

The tour starts at Skårungen, where you’ll receive snowshoes and a short introduction before we head out.

The first approximately 15 minutes follow a road from Skårungen, before we enter the wilderness. The terrain is relatively flat and not demanding, making the tour suitable for both adults and children. The walk to the camp takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on conditions.

At the camp, we slow down and enjoy simple Arctic moments.

Inside the cabin, we light the fireplace and serve warm drinks such as cocoa, tea or coffee. If the ice is safe and conditions allow, there is also the opportunity to try ice fishing — a calm and traditional winter activity. We also have sledges at the cabin, available for both children and adults, with space to enjoy some light sledding around the area.

We spend approximately 1.5 hours at the camp, with time to relax, explore the surroundings on snowshoes and enjoy the quiet winter atmosphere. We then return the same way we came.

This is a relaxed and accessible winter experience suitable for most people. The tour is not physically demanding, and we stay in safe terrain without steep climbs or summit hikes. Perfect for families, children, and anyone who wants to experience Lofoten in a genuine, calm and wintery way.
