We begin with a scenic drive from Svolvær to Haukland Beach, often ranked among the most beautiful beaches in Norway. Here, you’ll set out on foot for the coastal walk to Uttakleiv Beach, a 4 km trail that hugs the shoreline. The walk takes about an hour at a relaxed pace, with time to enjoy the views, snap photos, and soak up the raw beauty of the Arctic coast. Meeting again at Uttakleiv, you’ll see why this windswept bay has become one of the most photographed spots in Lofoten.
From Uttakleiv we continue by road to Unstad, a legendary surf beach where Arctic waves roll in beneath towering cliffs.
