The Nusfjord Heritage Fishing Village Experience is a 6.5-hour guided journey through some of Lofoten’s most iconic landscapes, combining dramatic viewpoints with a deep dive into authentic coastal history. Travelling from Svolvær, we make scenic stops at Gimsøy Bridge and Torvdalshalsen, offering sweeping views of mountains, ocean, and untouched coastline before continuing to the historic village of Nusfjord. One of Norway’s best-preserved fishing villages, Nusfjord provides a rare glimpse into traditional Arctic life, where we explore authentic rorbuer, learn about the Lofoten fishery, and experience the stories that shaped this unique part of the world.
