Introduction
The ISA Open Water SUP Course focuses on teaching SUP in an Open Water environment. The course also covers SUP Racing, Technical, and Downwind Paddling successfully. The ISA Flat Water SUP Certification is a prerequisite for this course.

Prerequisites:
The ISA Flat Water SUP Instructor award is a prerequisite to the Open Water SUP course. Please be sure your ISA Flat Water SUP certificate is current prior to enrollment.

Requirements
• Previous certification as an ISA Flat Water SUP Instructor
• Demonstration of intermediate Open Water SUP skills
• You must be able to swim 200m in 5 mins to join the course
• Completion of 10 practical hours logged and supervised by an ISA Instructor
• Maintain a valid lifesaving/surf rescue award
• Sign the ISA Coach’s Code of Conduct

What to bring
- SUP board, paddle, leash*
- Wet suit** (Min. 4/5 mm) The water temperature will be about 13-15°C
- Lunch: Bring your own or check out the menu at Lofoten Beach Bar
- Rain clothes and/or gore-tex!
- Warm woolen clothes – it can be quite cold now after the sun goes down.
- We would recommend to bring waterproof shoes for hiking
*) SUP board/paddle/leash can be rented from SUP Reine or at Lofoten Beach Camp; NOK 300,-
Our boards are Red Paddle Voyager 13'2 inflatables, Lofoten Beach Camp has some big hard boards.
We do not have any race boards, so it would be cool if some of you bring your own!
**) Wet suits can be rented at Lofoten Beach Camp, NOK 400,-

TERMS AND LIABILITY
Cancellation
- If canceled up to 30 days before the start, the entire course fee will be refunded (minus an administration fee of 5% of the course price).
- If canceled between 30 and 15 days before the start, 50% of the course fee will be refunded.
- If canceled less than 15 days before the start of the course, the course fee will not be refunded.
Liability
- Participation in our activities is at your own risk. SUP Adventures Lofoten AS is not liable for personal injuries, loss of personal belongings, or damage to your own equipment that may occur during the activity.
- We strongly recommend that all participants have a valid insurance.
