A Winter Dream in the North: Reindeer and Snowmobile Adventure 3D2N long

Embark on a snowmobile journey through the heart of Sápmi – from Alta to the Sami town of Kautokeino and into the rich nature and culture at the moutain lodges on Finnmarksvidda

Travel across the vast and breathtaking Finnmarksvidda, where endless white landscapes meet Arctic skies. Accompanied by your local guide, you'll explore untouched wilderness and learn about the traditions and stories that live in this region. This tour is 3 days and 2 nights accomodate in both hotels and mountain lodge with no car roads to enter.

The experience can be done in three different months and periodes.

February

Frozen silence dominates the landscape. Deep snow blankets the plateu. The sun returns with golden light. Cold, crisp air and northern lights above create a raw, untouched Arctic wilderness experience.

March

Brighter days stretch longer. Snow glistens under a higher sun. Wildlife tracks appear more frequently. Stillness and solitude meet sunlight, offering ideal conditions for exploration and cultural immersion on the plateau.

April

Spring whispers through the Arctic. Days grow warm and bright. Reindeer herds move across the tundra. Snowmobiling becomes smoother, and the landscape opens into endless white plains under a radiant sky.

Our tour starts in Gargia where we enter the Finnmarksvidda by snowmobile. We go south towards Kautokeino a distance of 120 km.

We will stays in a comfortable hotel in dobbel rom. Singel room with a add on. After check in we visit a traditional sami camp for a evening with the reindeer herder and his reindeer. We will end the evning in a traditional lavvo by the fire with culture experience and local food. The menu for the evening will be based on local and local food that gives you a unique culinary experience. If you like you can book a own lavvo for a overnight stay in the camp. This is extra. Back at the hotel there will be a arctic retreet with sauna and Jacuzzi

After breakfast we gir up and start our journey furter in to the heart of Finnmarksvidda On the way we stop on the trail for lunch. We continue to our historical moutain lodge. We will stay in rooms with 4 and 2 with bunk beds. After check in we have our dinner in the main house. In the evening the sauna will be warm for evning with high posibilites to see the northern lights. Today we have 90 km on the trail.

After breakfast we turn north west towards Gargia. On the way we stop for lunch at a historical moutain lodge where we are served traditonal local food. Today we have 100 km on the trail.
