Snowmobile Ride and Reindeer Feeding with a Local Guide

Your day begins with a warm welcome from your local guide. You’ll be fitted with a thermal suit and all necessary gear, then receive a clear safety briefing and hands-on instruction in snowmobile basics—so everyone feels confident before heading out.

Then it’s time to ride.

Follow your guide across snowy Arctic landscapes, surrounded by the wild beauty of Tromsø’s winter wilderness. Along the way we’ll stop to gather as a group, help build a bonfire, and enjoy a hearty lunch with hot drinks—an ideal moment to warm up and take in the silence of the Arctic.

After the ride, you’ll visit a Sami reindeer camp owned by reindeer herder Nils Ole Oskal. Meet the reindeer herd, learn about Sami traditions, and experience the joy of feeding these gentle animals by hand, guided by local experts.

Group & capacity note (important):

We have 6 snowmobiles, with 2 guests per snowmobile, meaning we can take up to 12 guests riding at the same time. If your departure has more than 12 participants, we’ll split into two smaller groups:

• One group starts with the snowmobile ride while the other enjoys time at the reindeer camp
• Then the groups switch, so everyone gets the full experience
