EVENING KING CRAB CRUISE & DINNER WITH NORTHERN LIGHTS POSSIBILITY

Aboard Tromsøs proud expedition ship MS Tromsø we sail to the north of Tromsø where we find our king crab tines, and together with your fellow guests we drag the pots to the deck and discover todays catch. On our way you will be guided through the history and background of this arctic monster and delicacy with our marine specialists.

The crab (s) are taken to the deck where its picture time, before the crab is delivered to the chefs in the kitchen to prepare for todays dinner, fresh king crab with Foccacio and rich red fish soup.

All aboard Tromsøs famous explorer vessel in comfort of the boats retro saloons, restaurant bar and discovery decks.

At the same time as having our dinner we are cruising the fjords where the northern lights are most possible to see.

Included:

• Cruise 6 PM – 9 PM to the north of Tromsøs on a classic arctic explorer vessel
• Introduction to the king crab history and how to catch it
• King crab catch
• Hot overalls
• Dinner with red fish soup blended with self-captured king crab claws
• Coffee / tea / fruits
• Visit to wheel house and the Captain and see how to navigate in polar waters

530 PM - 6 PM Onboarding

6 PM Departing to the north of Tromsø

6.10 PM onwards -History & Instructions of the catch and testing overalls

7 PMArrival to king crab fjord, cathing, cooking, picture time

8 PM Dinner

9 PM Arrival Tromsø, continue your dinner and possible northern lights that often take place by our dock
