About the experience

Are the little ones ready for their first ski adventure?

For children aged 4 years (or turning 4 during the winter season).

At Beitostølen Ski School, we have developed a special ski play program for 4-year-olds – a fun and motivating introduction to skiing!

Through play in the snow, both with and without skis, children will gain confidence and curiosity for skiing while having a great time.

The children must be able to be away from their mother and father.

Duration: The group lessons last for 90 minutes

At Beitostølen ski school, we have developed a special ski play program for 4-year-olds, a fun and motivating introduction to skiing for beginners.

Playful introduction:

Our experienced ski instructors create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for young beginners. We start on flat ground, where children learn basic skills such as safe falling techniques, getting up with skis on, and how to stop.

Games in the snow:

Learning should be fun! We incorporate exciting games and activities to keep children engaged, from snowball challenges to fun snow games. Every moment is an opportunity to build confidence and develop skiing skills.

With and without skis:

We believe in a holistic approach. Children will play in the snow both with and without skis.

This helps them get comfortable with their equipment and the alpine environment here in Beitostølen.

Safety first:

Safety is our top priority. We ensure children learn the proper techniques while having fun. Helmets are required, and we emphasize safe skiing practices throughout the program.

Availability:

During holiday weeks, we offer group ski lessons designed to give young skiers a fun and safe introduction to the slopes. If your preferred group is fully booked, we recommend private lessons for a more personalized experience. You can also contact our office to explore the possibility of setting up an additional group. ( Requiers minimum of 3 participants)

Tilleggsinformasjon

Lift pass not included, children need their own key card.

The children must be able to be away from their mother and father.

The child must be 4 years old or 4 years old during the winter season in question.

Skis are not included but can be rented at Beitostølen Ski rental.

Have your lift pass and skis ready when you meet the instructor.

All participants must wear a helmet

The instructor will meet you at the ski school meeting point at the bottom of the slope. Courses start on Mondays and run for four consecutive days. It is not possible to join from the second day or pay for single sessions.

Less than 3 course participants will be offerd the following:

1 participant 2 x 45 minutes private lesson

2 participants 2 x 90 minutes "group" lessons

It is required that there is a minimum of 3 participants
