Join us for a dip in Tromsø’s harbours at our Urban Floating tour!
Dive into the heart of Tromsø with our Urban Floating experience at the scenic Vervet. This unique activity combines relaxation and adventure, perfect for both serene moments and exhilarating thrills. Guests are equipped with specially designed immersion rescue suits to float effortlessly in the harbor, all while soaking in breathtaking views of the Arctic Cathedral and surrounding mountains. For those seeking a rush, jump from the docks for a refreshing 2-3 meter drop. Suitable for children aged 8 and above with a minimum height of 130 cm. Throughout your floating session, our experienced guides will ensure your safety and comfort. After your aquatic adventure, we share a hot or cold drink in our container Floating HQ.
We will start by inviting you into our container HQ, that's basically standing on an old shipyard. Here we keep our suits and you may leave your personal belongings while we're out in the water.
The guide will give proper instructions and help all floaters put on their suits, to make sure everybody's ready to go into the water.
When it's time to enter the ocean, we will go down the old shipyard's concrete ramp for a gentle descent.
If you want to get that tickling feeling in your stomach, we'll let you have a go at jumping from the docks and into the water.

The tour is accessible for pretty much everybody,
You need to be at least 130 cm to float, and weigh no more than 150kg. This is because of size limitations of our suits.
We are located at Vervet, between the Tromsø bridge and the Polar museum.
We kindly ask all guests to listen to our guides' instructions, and stay within the boundaries set by us. We feel very much responsible for our guest's safety and wellbeing, and hope that you will help us take care of you.
