About the experience

Discover the grandeur of the gannet on a remote island nestled between Senja and Andøy. With an impressive wingspan of up to two meters and its striking white plumage, the gannet is one of Northern Europe's most majestic seabirds. This colony is a vibrant gathering of these elegant birds in their natural habitat, surrounded by dramatic coastal landscapes.

The gannet is renowned for its spectacular plunge dives. From great heights, it dives with precision into the ocean in search of fish – an awe-inspiring sight for anyone lucky enough to witness it. Along the way, you may also spot other iconic seabirds, and if you're fortunate, catch a glimpse of whales, as well as curious seals poking their heads above the water.
