If you book a guided tour in the centre, you may take part in these stories while we walk together in an environment of buildings, objects and illustrations from the past and present time. This is how you also can become acquainted with the stories until the area was granted its World Heritage status in 2005, and you will have an impression of how glaciers and rivers have formed the distinctive fjord landscape. The diversity of species living here is impressive. Maybe you will hear more about the red-listed butterfly Mnemosyne, about the enduring wolf, or about the sea eagle hunting across the fjord?
To a certain extent, the tour can be adapted to your available time, but we advise you to treat yourself with sufficient time. The centre contains more than you think! At the end of the tour, you will see a film.
