Climbing certificate "Brattkort"
The "Brattkort" is a national certification standard issued by the Norwegian Climbing Federation. The course gives you a certificate to show that you have the proper knowledge to belay where there are top-ropes already hanging. This is the first step towards outdoor climbing.

Brattkort, introduced by the Norwegian Climbing Federation in collaboration with climbing walls across the country, provides access to climbing facilities participating in the scheme (along with paid entry). This card serves as proof that climbers have acquired the necessary knowledge and belaying skills to use climbing walls safely – the first step towards outdoor climbing.
After passing the test, you can order the Brattkort from the Norwegian Climbing Federation (NKF)/Brattkompetanse.no with an administration fee of 200 kroner (in addition to the course fee). More information about this registration will be provided by the instructor after passing the test. Take the step into the world of climbing in a safe and competent manner!

Tilleggsinformasjon
Age: Participants must be 13 years or older by the last day of the course. Participants under 18 years old must have written consent from parents/guardians.
Experience Requirement: None
Skill Requirement: Normal physical fitness
Duration: The course lasts for 6 hours, plus self-practice afterwards. All participants receive free access to the center and equipment for self-practice during the first week after the course.
Equipment: Wear comfortable clothing, bring food and drinks. Climbing gear is included in the course, but you can bring your own if you have it.
Capacity: Maximum 12 participants per course. The locker room is used for other purposes, so changing and showering must be done at home.
Registration: Binding. Participants are responsible for cancellation insurance.
