The course is designed to provide you with safety and the skills you need to become a confident paddler on flat water.
Course Content:
Balance training from kneeling to standing on the board.
Basic paddling and turning techniques will be demonstrated and practiced.
Comprehensive review of safety aspects for safe paddling on the sea.
Many worry about falling into the water, but on the introductory course, involuntary falls are rare. With stable boards, calm surroundings, knowledgeable instructors who seek shelter from wind and waves, and a gradual progression from kneeling to standing paddling, participants have a safe experience. For those who want to challenge themselves with board exercises that include a dip, we are happy to facilitate that.
Course Details:
Duration: 4 hours
Location: Toftøy (old Øygarden) in Kjøpmannsvågen, and on the south side of Rongesundet.
Price: NOK 890,- including equipment rental and life jacket.
