The Intro wall route is the perfect introduction to Via Ferrata climbing, where you step out of your comfort zone and get to experience the memorable view over Romsdalsfjella.
The Intro wall route is the perfect introduction to Via Ferrata climbing, where you step out of your comfort zone and create a memorable experience. The route is graded to difficulty level B on the international Via Ferrata scale.
The climb takes 3-4 hrs incl. return, normally 1,5-2 hrs in the wall. You should be in good physical shape but it does not require any previous climbing experience. You will be guided by professionals and secured to the mountain by cable throughout.
Meet at the reception of the Norwegian Mountaineering Centre (Norsk Tindesenter) in Åndalsnes at 10am.
Nice to know:
- All technical equipment is provided
- Minimum age: 12 yrs/40kg
- Maximum weight: 120 kg
- The climb takes 3-4 hrs from we walk from the centre until we are back again there
- Suitable shoes can be rented for 195NOK
