About the experience
A stunning climbing and hike adventure for those of you who have some mountain experiences from before and want an exciting challenge up in the tall mountains.
Group price - Private tour
Romsdalshorn is one of Norway’s most iconic mountains, rising steeply above the Romsdalen valley. This guided climb offers a classic alpine experience with airy sections, manageable climbing and spectacular views – all delivered with a strong focus on safety, quality and enjoyment.
Climbing Romsdalshorn is not about rushing to the summit. It is about moving confidently through mountain terrain, experiencing exposure in a controlled way and taking time to enjoy one of Norway’s most impressive landscapes.
The experience
The day begins in Vengedalen, where the route gradually leads into steeper terrain. Together with an experienced local guide, you will follow a classic line that has been used by climbers for more than a century.
The climbing is technically straightforward for fit participants and does not require previous climbing experience. The guide handles route finding, rope work and safety systems, allowing you to focus fully on the experience. The pace is adapted to the group, with regular breaks to take in the scenery and enjoy the journey.
From the summit, you are rewarded with spectacular views of Trollveggen, the Romsdalen valley and the surrounding mountains — a perspective few people ever experience.
